We have been getting our shoes from Mark Adrian's for more than twenty years. We are pleased to see the transition within the family has maintained the high level of choices and great service. Judy has almost always been our guide through the myriad of choices for what shoe will work best for pain issues, fashion or function. She is one of the very valuable, graceful, friendly, and knowledgeable gems in this small city.

I went to Mark Adrian (in Gloucester, worth a trip because it’s a great coastal city too) today in search of a proper foot sizing and purchasing sandals and shoes for an upcoming Italy trip and I am so glad I did. The staff was all very friendly and the place was pleasantly busy on a Saturday afternoon. I had Adam (whose Father was founder of the company which started almost 50 years ago). He was knowledgable, educational, patient and passionate about finding the right shoes and fit for ME and my feet. I ended up with walking shoes, walking sandals and a slightly dressier comfort sandal. Later this afternoon took my husband who also had an excellent experience discovering what he needed for comfort and size. He purchased sandals, sneakers and his usual work boots but in the proper size and they were considerably less than what he paid for the same at Kittery Trading Post. Having healthy feet is so important and wearing the correct shoes and size is paramount. I highly recommend seeing Adam. The world needs more customer service like at Mark Adrian in Gloucester Ma.

Amazing customer service. Didn't expect the supply they would have on hand. Normally these shoe stores never have the size I am looking for and end up a bust but not this place. They really want you to find the right shoe for you. As one employee said "there isn't shoe sizes there are foot sizes" alot of one on one service time spent helping my son find the right fit. Lucky to have found this place.

Quick, patient and caring! Very helpful in finding a shoe for me and had a great selection. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for shoes.

I came in for new running/walking sneakers, not sure exactly what would be best for me and I was impressed by how many great options there were. Michael was able to show me the best options for me and get me exactly what I needed. Highly recommend!

We are fortunate to have such a great shoe store in our midst. There are some stores where the people are so warm and welcoming that you just want to visit. Mark Adrian also provides great shoes. The shoes are outstanding brands from around the world. I was able to find contemporary, stylish, and comfortable shoes at a fair price. Thank you for being such a great store.

What a great shoe store! After a beach accident trashed my only shoes (word to the wise: pay attention to tide tables!) vacationing me needed a replacement. I remembered this store’s ad in the visitor’s bureau brochure and they really came through. The shop was bustling so I had the opportunity to listen as they helped several other customers. These people are shoe pros! They measure your feet, they understand fit in length, width & arch. They know their brands and what works well for what shaped feet. And every single one of them was welcoming, friendly & thorough. (Patrick even gave me some tips on how to salvage my soggy shoes.) What a gem of a store!

I just bought a pair of Blunstone boots. The person I dealt with was absolutely amazing. Their selection was equally so. The experience was so easy, and The ability to try different pairs on and see how they actually fit and look convince me that I will never buy another pair of shoes online again.
